The Volkswagen ID.5 GTX electric SUV will make its official debut at the Munich Motor Show. The model has an estimated range of 500 kilometers in the version with a 77 kWh battery.
On September 7, Volkswagen will unveil a new electric model from the ID range. This is the VW ID.5 GTX coupe SUV. The Germans say that the copy that will be exhibited in Munich will be a “pre-production prototype”.
Thus, the technical data announced now are not the final ones either. VW points out that the range is estimated at 500 kilometers in the version with a 77 kWh battery, two electric motors and all-wheel drive.
Full details for Volkswagen ID.5 GTX will be announced around the Munich event or even at the official presentation.
VW’s long-term goal for 2030 is for its European sales to account for 70% of electric cars.
